Description

In a design echoing a Grecian goddess, the sleeveless style features a faux-wrap empire bodice with slender ties that drape over the left hip. Softly angled shoulder straps are wide enough to accommodate bra straps, yet delicate and feminine. this dress is a great buy. I bought 5 of them for my bridesmaids. It is long on everyone but that can be taken care of. Too bad I didn't buy it now that it is mega cheap. Target.com RULES!!

I took a chance on this dress based on the other reviews and the fact that it was so inexpensive. I'm a maid of honor and was told to get a black chiffon dress, preferably full-length. I'm 5'6" and larger than a size 16 -- more like 18/20. I have been losing some weight so I figured I would aim to fit into this size-16 dress by the wedding date. Well, the dress is much closer to fitting than I expected! (I think the previous reviewer who said it might run a touch big was right.) It also was not too long (with 2" heels), but that might be partly because it bunched up a bit at the top where I was trying to hold it closed. The zipper does not seem too stiff, and the dress was only a tiny bit wrinkled -- no more than I'd expect from any garment that is mailed to me. The straps are very stylish and comfortable, and I agree that the bra-strap-holding snaps are a great added feature. I look much more elegant in this dress than I thought I would, as the price and the website photo had me worried that it might be a bit too casual for this occasion.

In all, I'm very pleased with the dress and excited to wear it in my friend's wedding.

The dress is super cute...very flattering, great length. The only downside is the super stiff zipper. You will definitely need help zipping this one up...no way you could do it on your own. Besides the zipper, it's very cute and I would highly recommend it!

I'm so happy I found this dress, I'm a bridesmaid on a budget and this dress is perfect!! True to size, if anything runs a tad big so if you are between sizes go down. I'm 5'7" and the length was just right for me, not too long. Very flattering as well and doesn't require fancy undergarments, your regular bra will work for once! The zipper does snag a little bit - but as long as it zips for the one day I wear it I'm fine with that.

I RECENTLY ATTENDED MY BROTHER IN LAWS WEDDING AND WANTED TO LOOK NICE, I LOVE TO PURUSE TARGET ON LINE. WHEN I CAME TO FIND THIS DRESS BY ISSACH MIZRAHI AVAIBLE BY ONLINE ORDER ONLY I DID NOT HESITATE TO PURCHASE, IT CAME VERY QUICKLY AND WAS NOT THAT WRINKLED (THEY MUST REALLY READ THESE COMMENTS!) [...] WHEN I SAW THE DRESS IN PERSON IT WAS BETTER THAN WHAT I EXPECTED!!! I AM A TALL LADY ABOUT 5'8 6'1 WITH HEELS AND THE DRESS COVERED ME VERY FLATTERING! THE BOTTOM PORTION OF THE DRESS IS LOOSER AND THE TAFFATA AND SILK WERE WHIPPING IN THE WIND I DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MY DRESS FLYING UP SHOWING THE NAUGHTY BITS! THE BRAW STRAP HOLDER SNAP IS FANTASTIC! HID MY WONDER BRA BRA STRAPS AND SNAPPED CLOSED SO THEY WOULND'T MOVE AND DIDN'T! THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY IS THAT THE ZIPPER WAS DIFFICULT TO MANUVERE I HAD ALOT OF ROOM BUT THE ZIPPER WAS BEING DIFFICULT THE THE PLACEMNT OF THE ZIPPER ON THE SIDE OF THE DRESS WHICH IS BEATIFUL, MADE IT DIFFICULT TO GET THE DRESS ZIPPED BY YOUR SELF. THEN PEOPLE WERE AFRAID THEY WOULD BREAK THE ZIPPER IF IT WAS FORCED. MY MOTHER IN LAW GOT IT UP 81% AND SAID SHE DINT WANT TO BREAK IT, SO I CALLED IN MY HUSBAND TO DO THE FINAL PULLING OF THE ZIPPER! AND IT WENT UP STAYED UP.

I waited and waited for this dress to arrive, and it did today! First of all I was a little dissapointed to have a dress like this packed so tight into a small plastic bag, the dress would have had to have been steamed before wearing. Over all the dress looks like the picture, but...the other reviewers were right. It is very, very long. I am 5'6 1/2" and I put on my 6 inch party heels to try it on. The model must have been very tall. Secondly, everyone was right about the zipper. First I couldn't get it down to get it on, then I couldn't get it down again to get it off. The fabric isn't exactly what I expected either. I suppose for the money it is a good buy, but this one has to go back.The Faux fur shawl that I got to go with it looks extreemly fake, and is just the opposite of the dress...it is very small. Looks like I will be shopping for that wedding outfit all over again.

I'm a little disappointed in this dress. Not only is the fabric less substantial than I would have expected for the price (esp. in comparison to other, less expensive Isaac Mizrahi dresses I have), but the zipper is a poor-quality one.

The dress is also quite long -- on me, it hits the floor, and I'm 5'8".
